Ballston Philatelics specializes in worldwide postal history and has stamps from selected countries. Ballston Philatelics is owned by William "Bill" Sandrik, a professional philatelist for 50 years. Bill is a dealer-member of the American Philatelic Society (APS) as well as a member of several philatelic societies in the United States and Europe. We participate in stamp shows and bourses in the United States under the name Ballston Philatelics which has served the philatelic community since 1994. Also, we sell items by mail to many of our specialized clients. Where does the name "Ballston" come from? Ballston is an area in Arlington, Virginia, and is about 5 miles from downtown Washington, DC. Ballston is one of the stations on the area's Metrorail (subway) system and is a major commercial and residential area of Arlington. |
