    All items are sold based on the description and are guaranteed to be genuine. Covers that are more than 100 years old normally will be expected to display signs of wear, including light edge wear, especially at the corners, and in the case of folded letters, file folds or refolds.
    Factors which affect the stamps or postal markings are noted. Minor damage to stamps on covers generally are not noted in the item description because minor damage may occur when a cover is censored or forwarded. Back faults are not noted unless they affect postal markings or are extensive.
